Prof. B.V. Ramana Reddy

Director, National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra

 
  • Took on the role of Director at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra on February 5, 2022.
  • Previously served as a Professor at the University School of Information & Communication Technology (USICT), GGSIP University, New Delhi, for 22 years (1999-2022).
  • Held positions as the Chairman of the Centralized Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CCGPC) at GGSIP University and Program Coordinator for the GGSIPU NSS Cell and NCC Cell, overseeing 15,000 NSS volunteers and 500 NCC Cadets.
  • Served in various roles, including Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (USET), Dean of the University School of Information and Communication Technology (USICT), Dean of the University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP), and Chairman & Librarian for the University Information Resource Centre (UIRC).
  • Worked as faculty at esteemed national institutes, including NIT Kurukshetra (1991-95) and NIT Hamirpur (1995-1999).
  • Holds fellowship status with IETE, IE, ISTE, and is a member of professional organizations such as IEEE, CSI, and SEMCEI.

  • Current Position: Emeritus Senior Scientist at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi.
  • Previous Academic Role:
    • Former Professor at the School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
    • Served as the Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
  • Research and Publications:
    • Published over 275 papers in international journals.
    • Authored approximately 60 book chapters.
    • Edited 14 books.
  • Fellowship and Honors:
    • Fellow of all four National Science Academies in India.
    • Member of The World Academy of Sciences, Trieste, Italy.
    • Recipient of the National Civilian Award, Padma Shri.
    • S.S Bhatnagar Award from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.
    • Birbal Sahni Medal from the Botanical Society of India.
    • Lifetime Achievement Awards from various organizations, including the Indian National Science Congress, PHSS Foundation, Biotechnology Research Society of India, and Society for Ethnopharmacology.
    • First Indian to receive the Corresponding Membership Award from the American Society of Plant Biologists.
Prof. Bidyadhar Subudh

Director, NIT Warangal

  • Prof. Bidyahar Subudhi  is  the Director of NIT Warangal from April 27, 2023.Previously a Professor in the School of Electrical Sciences and Dean (R&D) at IIT Goa. His Prior roles include Professor, Electrical Engineering, Dean (Alumni Relation & Resource Generation), and HoD, Electrical Engineering at NIT Rourkela.
  • Prof. Bidyahar Subudhi has completed his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from NIT Rourkela.,Master of Technology in Control & Instrumentation from IIT Delhi &PhD in Control System Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK.
Himanshu Rai

Director, IIM Indore

 
  • Professor Himanshu Rai serves as the Director of IIM Indore.
  • He previously held positions as the Dean of SDA Bocconi India campus and a Professor at SDA Bocconi, Milan.He has taught at IIM Lucknow and XLRI.
  • Prior to his academic career, he worked for over 8 years at Tata Steel, where he contributed significantly to Quality Systems and the Communication Policy.
  • Professor Rai authored the bestselling book “Negotiation” and delivered a TEDx talk on “Ethical Leadership: Lessons from the Vedas.”His latest book, “Organizational Behavior,” is co-authored with Steven McShane and Mary Ann Von Glinow.
  • He is a member of the high-powered advisory committee on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) of the Ministry of Education and the Vision@2047 committee of the Government of India.
  • LinkedIn has recognized him as one of the 25 most influencing voices from India.
